Screen sharing on Google Meet is an effective way to collaborate and present information in real time. Whether on desktop or mobile, it’s a simple process that improves communication during virtual meetings.
To start, during your Google Meet session, locate the Present now button at the bottom of the screen. Click it, and you’ll be given options to share either your entire screen, a specific window, or a browser tab. If you choose to share a browser tab, Google Meet will optimize for video and animation quality. When you select what to share, the others in the meeting will immediately be able to see your screen. To stop sharing, simply click Stop presenting.
If you're using the Google Meet mobile app, the process is slightly different but just as easy. Tap the three vertical dots in the corner of the screen, then select Present screen to start sharing. On mobile, you'll need to grant the app permission to access your screen, and everything on your phone’s screen will be shared until you stop it.Screen sharing is especially useful for team meetings, virtual lessons, or troubleshooting sessions, as it allows others to follow along visually. With just a few clicks, you can present content in real time, enhancing collaboration and communication.
